You captured my heart
Yesterday while in worship at LifePoint, the worship team sang “Yahweh,” as the church participated in communion. I was seated. I ate my bread and drank my juice, after a few moments of contemplation between me and my Father. Then as I began thinking of the sacrifice Christ made for me, I peered to my left and noticed an older man praising his God, one arm stretched high and the other on his heart.
He was belting “Yahweh, Yahweh.”
I was so touched by this moment. I assume his age had something to do with it, but I was amazed that this man, albeit he was older, was praising his God like the first time he understood Christ died on the cross for his sins.
I love seeing a love, like the one between a person and God, last through struggles and hardships.
Have you praised your God like He deserves lately?

Tribes

I am currently reading Tribes by Seth Godin. But before you click on to something better I hope to convince you to pick up a copy of Tribes as well.
Tribes is not your conventional book. It’s smaller than your average book (5 ¼” x 7 ¼”), but what it lacks in size it explodes with life changing, heavily saturated content.
It doesn’t contain regular chapters; more like thought chapters (which aren’t numbered).
And what I enjoy most about Tribes, it’s a simple read.
Seth Godin is a smart man, who understands almost too much about his surrounding world. So why not learn from his knowledge; go grab one of his many bestsellers off a Barnes and Noble bookshelf.
