Laughing with Twitter

As most people know, Twitter is a great place for info, news and much more. One use of Twitter I enjoy is laughing at the humorous sayings of famous comedians. Here are a few of my favorites discovered from the Comedy Edition of Wired.

I won a Landon Donovan Jersey

I follow @landondonovan on twitter, and at the beginning of the new year he posted that he was in the running for SportsNation’s Awesomest Dude Award for 2010.

Being a true US soccer fan, I went to Facebook and voted. After watching Landon’s tweets after I voted I soon learned you could vote more than once, and I did so. (more…)

Dad Life

While sitting in small group, after our discussion has finished, it has grown customary that we watch YouTube videos on our TV via TiVo Premier.

This week we were showing the hilarious Antoine Dodson “Bed Intruder Song” video to one of the couples, and then one of the husbands asked if we had seen “Dad Life.” None of us had, so we searched for it.

Such a creative and fun way to celebrate Dads.

The video was created by Church on the Move, an innovative church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A History of Rap with Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake

My wife had me record this showing of the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, because she loves Justin Timberlake. Justin tries to go above and beyond with everything he does, and he succeeds quite amazingly. This example with ‘A History of Rap’ lives up to his high standards.

OK Go – White Knuckles Music Video

They continue to do really cool one-take music videos.

Concussed by Watermelon

The upcoming season of the Amazing Race contains a woman getting concussed by a watermelon. Watch this video.

This dude is pretty legit. 2010 World YoYo Champion.

WordPress Challenge Completed

In December of last year @human3rror hosted a party…an online party. It was a WordPress 2.7 Release party.

To partake in the party you needed to complete 3 criteria. First was download WP 2.7, second was to tell why you love WordPress, and third was to challenge a non-WordPress user to convert. You know blogging platform evangelism as some would call it (no one calls it that).

I completed the needed items and challenged my boss, Jason. He was using TypePad and needed some WordPress love. Little did I know he would actually take me up on my challenge. Plus he convinced his wife to switch from Blogger.

Both of them are now using WordPress.

Glad you guys have switched, we will be updating the looks to your sites very soon.

So all in all, if you haven’t thought of switching to the best blog platform, consider the possibilities. And Human3rror I am calling you out. Your challengee Whittaker Woman hasn’t switched yet.
