I am a Mac fanatic. Ever since I have owned a Mac I have used Safari. But today I think I am turning a new leaf. From here on out I have a new number one.
Firefox 3.0 came out today. I never used Firefox because it wasn’t as aesthetically pleasing as Safari, but now I am having to ditch my loyalty for the better product.
Sorry Apple, for the first time, your product is not my favorite.

I was recently reading from CS Lewis’ Mere Christianity, getting ready for my class I get to teach on Sundays. While refreshing myself from the book, I came across a quote I hadn’t remembered.
“People need to be reminded more often than they need to be instructed.” – Dr Johnson
This just sat on my heart, and reminded me that as a teacher/leader it’s important to know those basics. So that I can remind others about the simplicity of having a relationship with Christ.
In soccer I was always coached, “it was all about the fundamentals.”
How can you get better at remembering the basics, and remove all the other distractions?

My table that my dad and I are making is very close to being finished. I have been to Lowe’s three times in the past two days, which is a lot for me. We have built the table, sanded, puttied, sanded, primed, painted, sanded, painted, and sanded. Now all we should lack is one more coat of paint.
Once the table is completely finished I will post pictures of the table along with our new couch.

Well, it was a bit slower than that. That was about an hour and a half in two minutes.
Tuesdays are our divisional meetings.

Tonight I was spending some time with an old friend and his kids (3 girls). We were just hanging, when Kristi and I decided to show them the beautiful world that is Rock Band. You know bring them into the light.
While we were playing, one of the twins was leaning on our coffee table. Kristi and the twins dad asked if she would get off, because it is not very stable. So, as any respectful child would, she pushed herself off of the table just as it collapses. She put all of her weight on the table in order get off, which was not the best of ideas.

Luckily I have been planning, with my dad, to build a new one. The process for that has already commenced. Pictures later.

I got to play golf today with Nathaniel Hale, Jason Stewart, and Jeff Weber today. We traveled to Cedar Crest Golf Club in Murfreesboro.
I ended with a pretty good score (for my standards). I shot an 86, and got my very first eagle ever. It was on a par 5 and I holed a chip from just off the green!
Recently my wife and I decided to buy Rock Band. We thought it would be a fun purchase that we could share with others. Well to this point we have had: Kirk, Katie, Brett, Morton, Amber, Em J, Cody, Tatum, the entire Worship programming division (sans Vickie ‘our ministry assistant’), and have taken the game to David Cox’s house for a night o’fun.
Thus far it has been a blast, and has made me happy, because Kristi loves to play drums and is addicted. Which helps me justify my addiction for Call of Duty 4
Recently I have been playing a lot of Call of Duty 4. Since graduation, I have had so much free time and the best way I have found to fill the time is playing video games. Luckily my wife hasn’t said I can’t play anymore.
